The Embedded Windows CE-based Kestrel is equipped with an Intel XScale processor. This ensures that your chosen business applications will run at optimum speed.

The Integrated TouchPod includes printer, scanner and magnetic stripe reader and has the added benefit of requiring only one battery to power the entire combined device. This optimizes battery management for the operator, allowing all device components to be simply and efficiently charged in the cradle.

Integrated Bluetooth allows the Kestrel to upload and download data from, and communicate with, other external Bluetooth-enabled devices. On-Board GPRS facilitates immediate transmission of captured data from the Kestrel to a central Office, enabling real-time processing and analysis.

The Kestrel has the ability, through in-built application software control, to make mobile telephone calls. Calls are conducted safely via an external headset and speaker set which are connected wirelessly. Businesses can control mobile telephone activity and costs more closely by using the in-built software to set limitations on outgoing calls. Integrated GPS (Global Positioning System) enables personal or vehicle navigation and tracking using appropriate navigation software.
